The Team at Framework Sports have to inform you that it is necessary to take action on pricing to mitigate some of the dramatic cost increases we are experiencing in our business.
Effective immediately, we will impose a small price increase on the Slinger Ball Launcher to reflect the rising costs of importing this product in to the UK.
Unfortunately, the ongoing global economic situation has created global price increases from all brands we work with and theset have impacted all consumer product categories – including sporting goods. We have experienced these rises in costs at unprecedented levels as manufacturing plants attempt to secure raw materials to meet the increase in consumer demand. This is compounded by huge price hikes imposed by shipping liners to transport goods from overseas. This has been caused by lack of space on vessels and a shortage of shipping containers. The sea freight costs associated with container of Slinger Launchers has risen 1076% since last August – an 11 fold increase in less than a year. It is largely the driving up of freight charges that has caused significant cost inflation to our products – particularly the Slinger Bag.
Framework Sports can no longer absorb this level of cost increase. It is simply not sustainable and we need to pass a proportion of these on. Please understand that we are not passing all of the cost increases on.
As a result, the price for the Slinger Grand Slam Launcher increases from £925.00 to £950.00.
